Character Name: Tien-shi Lee
Age: 14
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Black
Height: 5'6"
Parents: Rock Lee/prematurely mid-life crisising Kumo clanswoman turned psycho
Appearance Description: Tien-shi stands at about average height, though he's still growing, and sports a lanky but slightly toned build. His brown, loosely kept bowl cut ties into a braid down his back. He also has his father's big eyes and caterpillar brows. His complexion is bright and peachy, and he's usually seen wearing a pleasant smile.
Clothing Description: He wears a deep cerulean high-collared Chinese shirt that buttons all the way down. The sleeves cut off just at the elbows, and the edges of his shirt are laced with a dark turquoise. Because he's lefty, his shuriken pouch and kunai holders are on his left hip and leg respectively. His charcoal flood pants end mid-calf over his turquoise leg weights. The weights are only about 1/10 of the ones Lee used to train with, however, due to his lower strength. White bandages wrap around his lower arms to his knuckles. His ninja sandals and belt are the standard blue. He still has yet to trade his Kumo protector for a Konoha one, possibly out of bittersweet yet sentimental reason.
Fighting Style/Jutsu Explanation: Despite who his father is, Tien-shi sucks at taijutsu, gasp! Well no, not as much anymore because he used to be terrible, but it's highly unlikely under normal circumstances he'll exhibit the same expertise as his hard-working taijutsu genius father in the art. Though he's rather fast, he has a lower level of stamina and physically fatigues sooner than average shinobi. His ninjutsu is above average and more fine-tuned compared to his slightly below average taijutsu. Instead, he got his shinobi talents from his mother, who was a prominent Kumo clan member specialized in genjutsu. Primarily a genjutsu-type, he's just about genius level at the illusionary arts and is proficient in entrancing and chakra-depleting genjutsu. His "that jutsu" makes the victim imagine himself mummified by lotus leaves. Tien-shi pulls out all their chakra from his chest in the form of a lotus blossom and crushes the chakra flower in his fist. He can adjust the damage dealt accordingly, either simply tiring the victim out for a few minutes to depleting his chakra enough so he can no longer properly fight for the match.
The one shinobi technique he did get from his father was Suiken, or Drunken Fist, which exponentially increases his taijutsu but makes his movements irratic. Because the results are such a coin toss, he rarely ever uses it and only does as a last resort.
He also knows basic Cloud jutsus. He's got Kawarimi, Henge, Bunshin, and its Cloud counterpart Kumo Bunshin which is often a combined attack with Dangan Yuudachi (Bullet Rain Shower).
Family History: Lee and his springtimey, youthful self decided at some point in early adult life to travel and experience all the world had to offer. He country-hopped often, going from village to village, small to large. One day he village-hopped into Kumogakure, met and fell utterly in love with Tien-shi's mother. It's popularly believed that she enhanced his initial liking to her with genjutsu and married him despite her clan's ill-wishes, probably out of some premature mid-life crisising urge to do something daring and rebellious. Either way, once Lee got with her he settled down in Kumo and raised his family.
Then rumors of the war circulated, and the Lee family became a house divided. With both parents essentially on opposite sides of the war, there was constant arguing among father and mother. Suddenly the woman who once defied her prominent clan became its most ardent supporter in the name of Kumogakure and threatened to leave them. Or make them leave her, I guess, since she's the one in her home village. One night the arguing was too much to take, and Tien-shi took solace in sake, knowing fully well of the alcohol ban his dad placed without question but not giving a crap. He'd soon learn the reason behind the ban. I'm sure you can guess what happened from there. He went nuts, nearly destroyed the place, and in his drunken state fully convinced his mother that Lee and Tien-shi were heathen enemy-sympathizing filth. She told them to leave her house and never return. As much as he loved her, Lee knew there was no chance of fixing his family, took Tien-shi, and made for Konoha. Soon after their arrival, they received a letter from Kumo that they were banished indefinitely from crazy Kumo psycho-wife/mom's clan.
When Lee and Tien-shi came to Konoha, they were heavily monitored under suspicion of enemy collaboration. Though they were proven not to have had any involvement with the Kumo war effort, they were still placed under watch and forbidden from any part of Konoha's government and shinobi regime in case of possible treason and sabotoge. While most of Konoha was on the fields fighting, they were stuck at home twiddling their thumbs waiting for the war to end. And it did, and the Lees were no longer under watch. Still, the distrust and suspicion remained even after the war, and this affected Tien-shi socially. As much as he misses it back home, he simply wants to fit in in his new home and get along with everyone. We'll see how that goes.
Personality: He's very much like his YK counterpart: amicable, laid back, somewhat indecisive. It may take some time initially, but eventually he'll make a good friend and be willing to reach out to others. He's not overly enthusiastic as you'd expect considering the kind of person his father is, but sometimes he can get caught up in the moment and sport an excitement usually not present. Otherwise, Tien-shi's just a loyal, kind, and nice person to be around. He can get along with just about anyone.
He's notably shier this time around, namely because of his current situation. Having recently fled moved to Konoha from Kumo, he and his dad are viewed with much suspicion, though neither of them took part of the enemy war effort and left before it got heated. That, combined with being in a totally new village makes Tien-shi insecure about what others think of him. Sometimes he appears unable to have a mind of his own and comes off as agreeable to a fault. This is partly because he is easygoing and generally agreeable, but it is also due to his desire to make friends, especially now living in a new country and village, and remain on their good sides. He can't--or won't--take sides even if it's necessary, and this makes him seem indecisive. When an argument arises he'll try playing mediator between the two parties, but the job easily flusters him, so he's not very good at keeping the peace.
